The Explorer 13.5, 21 watt HID comes with a 13.5 Ah NiMH battery pack, locking latches, stainless steel fittings, universal charger, hands-free Goodman handle, lifetime warranty on canister, and it is rated to 300 fsw. NiMh batteries provide more than 50% greater energy density than lead-acid and allow light cannisters to be a fraction of the size of conventional dive lights. Cannisters are milled from a solid rod of Delrin.

The E/O cord can be plugged and unplugged while under water.
